Attachment theory was invented by Mary Ainsworth in 1978. Love languages by Gary Chapman in 1992. Both frameworks have become so ubiquitous on TikTok that their original meaning has gotten kind of… squished.
Our job in this category is partly translation — bringing the actual research back into quizzes that use these terms — and partly honest entertainment. Yes, 'does he like me' quizzes are a guilty pleasure. No, a quiz cannot tell you whether someone likes you. But it can help you structure what you already know.
What we won't do: shame users for taking these. There's a weird cultural tic where 'does he like me' quizzes get treated as something embarrassing. They're fine. Everyone takes them.
